Performance of interlining

Jul 25, 2022

The physical properties of interlining include thickness, elasticity, ironing temperature and pressure required for ironing.

1. Non woven interlining and woven interlining have different thicknesses. Like the fabric, the thickness of interlining is difficult to measure. It can only be judged by vision and perception. Generally, the thickness of interlining is classified into three types: thin, medium and thick.

2. There are two kinds of elastic force of the woven interlining, one is the elastic force of the elastic yarn material woven interlining itself, and the other is the stretch degree of the warp and weft systems due to the tension of the gaps in the yarn weaving; The elasticity of non-woven interlining is its own stretch.

3. The pressing temperature of interlining refers to the temperature at which the interlining viscose melts when heated. Generally, there are two kinds of interlining: high-temperature interlining and low-temperature interlining.

4. The firmness of interlining ironing on the fabric is related to the temperature of interlining ironing, the pressure required for interlining ironing and the length of ironing time. Generally, the pressure of high-temperature interlining is relatively large and the ironing time is relatively long; On the contrary, the pressing pressure of low-temperature interlining is relatively small and the ironing time is relatively short.
