How to bond the woven interlining of clothing?

Jun 23, 2022

The influence of different fabric materials on the bonding surface temperature is as follows: comparison of several stacking methods and characteristics of woven interlining and fabric Standard stacking method: that is, the reverse side of the fabric is facing up, the lining is facing up, and the bonding surface is facing down. The effect of standard stacking bonding is good, but the effect is low, and the fabric is easy to stick and stain.

The overcoat requires proper elasticity, and the shirt collar needs to choose a resin collar lining with a certain degree of stiffness, mainly to have a certain degree of toughness. As can be seen from the above figure, the minimum value of stiffness is 5.4cm at the temperature of 135°C. with the increase of temperature, the stiffness increases correspondingly.

Bonding time the bonding effect of interlining and fabric is affected by time to a large extent, because the hot melt adhesive flows into the fabric with a certain time process, and the peeling strength is related to the bonding time. The bonding of two layers of fabric depends on the short time for hot-melt adhesive to connect the two layers. The hot-melt adhesive lacks melting and cannot infiltrate the fabric well, so the peeling strength is low. However, the long pressing time will cause a large amount of melt adhesive to infiltrate into the fabric. The length of pressing time should be selected according to the density and thickness of the fabric.

Pressure of bonding: the pressure and time of pressure during bonding and the pressure during bonding are mainly to eliminate the gap between the two layers of fabric, so that the hot melt adhesive can be pressed into the fabric by external force. The pressure form of plate pressing machine is plane pressure, which makes the hot melt adhesive pressurized from the glass state (solid state) to the viscous flow state. The heating and pressing are synchronized in time. Because the pressing time is longer, the adhesion fastness is higher than that of the roller press, but it is easy to penetrate;

The pressure form of rolling press is linear pressure, which is to heat the fabric and hot melt adhesive at the same time and pass through the oven at the same time. At this time, the two layers of fabrics that are not bonded do not fit tightly during heating, so that the hot melt adhesive of the lining cloth cannot be well bonded to the fabric. Therefore, the roller belt pressing machine (except for the one with pre pressing and preheating) is not as strong and high as the plate pressing machine, and the effect on the fabrics that are difficult to adhere is more obvious.
